I recently had the opportunity of having Michael Sabers represent me in my divorce case. Michael and his staff did an amazing job! I know that I was not his only client but they work so hard that it does make you feel that way. I cannot reccomend Loos, Sabers and Smith enough. Mrs. Smith provided legal expertise as well as support through an extremely difficult period of my life. Having her and her team in my corner instilled me with a confidence and reassurance I would not have had otherwise. I was in a pretty bad car accident in 2024 that required ongoing medical treatment. Michael Loos and his team made this experience so much easier. I gave them the information and they took care of literally everything else. My only regret is not hiring them sooner. They were able to get me the maximum settlement possible. They put together my case of over a year and a half of  surgeries and rehab.  The whole staff was always helpful and caring.  Ultimately, they got me the best possible settlement. I recently completed an 18-month divorce proceeding with Hollie Smith as my attorney. I was referred to Clayborne, Loos and Sabers by another firm after getting nowhere with numerous calls from out of state.  When I called, I was told that Hollie would be a good fit for my needs.  It was very difficult trying to find a good attorney in South Dakota, sight unseen, from Alaska, on short notice. Hollie turned out to be the angel in a ballcap that I needed. Throughout 24 years in law enforcement, I worked with a lot of attorneys in 8 states in cities and rural areas. There were a few good ones and many more ‘not so much’, so I recognize a good one when they do come along. Hollie and Sherrie Rose did an excellent job overall, as well as Brenda and Betsy in accounting.  Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. After 47 ½ years of marriage, the divorce may or may not have been the average divorce, but none-the-less was daunting & complicated in its own ways.  Hollie’s prices were reasonable, and she did her best to minimize my expenses. From our initial introduction call, Hollie was always professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, understanding, and a skilled negotiator and strategist.  She was respectful of my 24 years of federal law enforcement experience and let me work with her to optimize our case strategy, progress and budget. I submitted over 150 pages of detailed technical documentation and data to support our case, which was at times still difficult to sort out and follow.  Hollie and Sherrie did an excellent job of strategically managing the bulk of evidence for Discovery and appropriate responses. They should have been a little overwhelmed at times, trying to comprehend and make use of so much data provided, but that did not seem to be the case. Overall, I was very satisfied with their efforts and ended up with everything I set out to achieve. Hollie showed her true colors during the negotiations, and I am very thankful she was on my side. It was obvious she truly cared and remained encouraging and supportive throughout the entire process. Hollie made me feel like I gained a true friend through the ordeal, and I would recommend her to anyone.  She certainly hit the ball out of the park on this one.

What could have been a difficult situation dealing with my ex-husband in another country (Brazil), she worked effortlessly to find the path of least resistance.  Her staff sent updates via email and she called when necessary.  I am a travel nurse and do not reside locally most of the year.  She was able to represent me from afar and I was able to attend the final court proceeding  via zoom from Hawaii.  The entire process was almost effortless. Holly Smith is very knowledgeable when it comes to family court. She listens well and remembers pertinent information and represents her clients well. My situation wasn’t straight forward, as we had already been through the process in another state. If there was ever anything she wasn’t 100% certain about, she wasn’t above asking her colleagues their opinions on a situation. Every time I had to go to the office, the office staff was always professional and courteous. Holly and all of their staff always handled matters in a timely effort. Hollie Smith recently represented my granddaughter in a case.  Hollie was pleasant and very professional,  She discussed the facts surrounding the case and the difficulties that might be encountered.  The case took a surprising turn however Hollie never lost focus, remained calm and was always in full control of the situation.  Every time a "curve ball" was thrown at her, "she knocked it out of the park" and was completely prepared for every contingency.
